"Martin Luther King Junior An Interactive Story of His Life" by Rich Linville is an excellent biography of Martin Luther King Jr. for young readers. It is written with simple, straightforward text in a warm inviting voice making it easily understood by even the youngest readers. The author includes not just well-known facts about this civil rights leaders but some details I didn't even know (like when he changed his name to Martin Luther King Jr.). The graphics are clean, colorful, and highly visual, and the length is short making this a perfect book for reading to students during a unit on civil rights or as a nightly bedtime story. I particularly like that it’s interactive, posing questions for readers to answer and asking them to relate King's experiences to their own.
Highly recommended for parents and teachers.

"The Goose Who Laid Golden Eggs An Aesop Fable To Guess the Moral" by Rich Linville has a great message for young readers. This easy to read story shows how greed can cost you everything. Being happy with what you're blessed with is a valuable lesson for youngsters. This story is great way to teach kids to be thankful.

"Wipe Out Earth - A Science Fiction Short Story for Kids" by Rich Linville is fun for kids to read. I love how they found out the earth would be wiped out. You will have to read it to find out. Kids and adults will love that part. I hope this never happens but at least there was a good ending involved.

"Johnny Appleseed and the Apple Life Cycle" by Rich Linville was an excellent study on the life of Johnny Appleseed, his contributions to the raising of apples, and the life cycle of apples. I learned more than I thought I would from a children’s book. My son was amazed that Johnny and his little brother (whom is only a few years older than my son) were able to travel the land far from home and achieve amazing things. It’s pretty humbling to see just how different life is for kids then versus now. There is so much information contained in this one book and it would make an excellent edition to your library for both schools and homeschools. It is a little long so I’d recommend breaking it into several lessons and start the apple seed growing experiment at the beginning so you can watch them grow while you learn about Johnny and his apples.

"Three Billy Goats Gruff" by Rich Linville was an enjoyable afternoon read with the grandkids. In addition to retelling an old tale, it includes two fun sections at the end. The first asks some really good discussion questions, while the second discusses amazing goat facts. A great book for learning about an old tale and new things.

"Stone Soup A Folk Tale to Find the Meaning and a Soup Recipe" by Rich Linville is a fun and quick read! I love the stone soup story and this book is a creative retelling of the classic fable. A short and easy read that will help kids learn their vegetable names and identification. Great idea to include a recipe for soup that get kids excited about making their own "stone soup".

"The Fox and the Grapes and the Stork Two Aesop Fables to Find Their Meanings" is another good educational book from Rich Linville. The stories are short and to the point - or should I say, to the question. The stories lead to questions that are so great to get the kids thinking and talking about things besides just a cute story. A nice way to have some discussion and a bit of a lesson with your children. The illustrations are adorable as well. This is a nice book to read with the kids.

I read "The Good Samaritan (Bible for Children)" with my 2 and 4 year old and they enjoyed it. It is well written and has bright and colorful illustrations that accompany the story. The question at the end is a good bonus and allowed us to get a little deeper into the story.

"My Pet Rattlesnake and How It Happened" is a silly story about how a cowboy came to have a talking rattlesnake as a pet. It has a happy ending and is followed by very helpful and educational information about having a snake as a pet. A great gift for any child that wants a pet snake.

"The Dog in the Manger: An Aesop Fable For You to Find the Meaning" I like how short this story is for children. Rich Linville gives kids a chance to determine the point of the fable at the end, even leaving the door open for them to think of what else it might mean to them (I was in this camp of people, myself). I also like that there appears to be a series, or several different story types available from the author with different meanings behind them.

My Alaskan Race is well-narrated, entertaining and educational. Readers will learn about the Iditerod Race in Alaska and how mushers must prepare for the demanding race. One of the Huskies tells the story from his point of view and explains what typically happens during the race and beforehand. I highly recommend it. This book would be helpful for children and teachers to learn about the well-know Alaskan race.

"Jokes for Kids and How to Tell Them" by Rich Linville is an excellent resource for parents and educators looking to add some laughter to children's lives. The book is packed with clean and funny jokes that are sure to tickle kids' funny bones, as well as tips for delivering them effectively.

One of the things I appreciated about this book was the variety of jokes included. From puns and riddles to knock-knock jokes and silly stories, there's something for everyone. And unlike some joke books that rely on tired stereotypes or offensive humor, "Jokes for Kids" is refreshingly inclusive and respectful.

The "how to tell them" section is also a great addition. Linville offers advice on pacing, tone, and body language to help young comedians deliver their jokes with confidence. I can imagine this being a valuable resource for teachers or parents who want to encourage public speaking skills in their children.

Overall, I highly recommend "Jokes for Kids and How to Tell Them" for anyone looking to inject some humor into their kids' lives. The jokes are funny and appropriate, and the tips for delivery make this book a valuable teaching tool as well."

"Murphy’s Law for Kids with Examples" is a perfect read for kids and adults alike — educational without feeling like a lesson, and entertaining from start to finish. The message is clear: even when things go wrong, we can learn, laugh, and find ways to make the best of it.
